Considering creative expression which looks at the relationship of human to nature, my nature inspired jewellery explores this interaction across three facets from positive to negative- first an appreciation for the beauty and secondly how engagement can lead to something wonderful and thirdly of conflict.

These concepts are explored with earthly coloured metals and alternative materials in organic, soft shapes to represent the natural elements and cold coloured metals such as silver in geometric shapes to represent humankind.

The intent of the body of work is to inspire viewers and wearers of my jewellery to engage with the natural elements around them, truly appreciate what we have and question the way in which we live our lives and care about what we have left.
