My work explores the emotional experience of invisible disabilities and conditions through jewellery. My aim is to create work that raises awareness while also offering a sense of recognition and validation for those who live with these conditions.

I take inspiration directly from symptoms, whether that’s disrupted processes, sensory overwhelm, pain, or the way the body struggles with everyday functions, and translate them into forms, textures, and mechanisms. These elements give each piece a close link to the lived experience of a condition, while still leaving room for personal interpretation.

Each piece contains the relevant awareness ribbon colours which add to the design, with enamel, stones, or beads, so that each piece carries a subtle but recognisable connection to the condition it represents. Rather than being purely decorative, these pieces are made to reflect both the challenges and the strength that come with living with something unseen.

Through this, my jewellery becomes a way of making invisible experiences visible. It allows people to feel acknowledged, and it gives viewers a glimpse into realities that are often overlooked
