COURSE OUTLINE

Make your own silver pendant and experience the jewellery studio.

Our very own alumnus, Steve Adams will be sharing his roll press skills and assist you to create a roll press pendant in silver on leather chord.

Learn how to anneal metal, roll pattern into metal surface, shape/saw pendant and polish to a bright finish before securing onto leather chord. 

TIME: 1 Lesson 10 am – 2 pm (4 hour session)

CLASS SIZE:  Limited to 10 teachers.

PRICE MATERIALS:    R400.00 to be paid by the teacher to the lecturer

                                     Class fees valued at R480.00 provided by RPSA

                                      Material support valued at R180.00 also provided by RPSA           

The Materials Kit comprises of Copper, Brass, Leather Chord, Saw blades, Sandpapers, Fine Silver and materials for patterns.

ABOUT THE LECTURER

Steve is a metalsmith and jeweler driven by a desire to explore techniques and unleash creativity. With a fusion of texture and imagery, Steve adds a vibrant narrative, igniting intrigue and fascination into his work. Steve also teaches students in the full-time programme.
