Winter School 2026 Painting A LANDSCAPE ON CANVAS
The Landscape Painting workshop will take students through the process of making a painting, using an extended adaptation of the traditional Zorn palette of colours.
We will supply a 28cm x 35cm canvas, acrylic paint and brushes.
Participants are asked to please bring their own water containers, something to mix colours on (an ice cream tub lid is ideal), a rag and the image they want to paint. The workshop is limited to 12 people.

ABOUT THE LECTURER
Colign Strydom graduated with a Masters Degree in Visual Art from Stellenbosch University in 2008. Since then he has exhibited both nationality and internationally. His last exhibition was a solo show at Everard Read in Cape Town. His practice is drawing based and extends to painting and performance.
